Once alliums have stopped blooming, should I stop watering them? Thanks, Donna |
Alliums as a rule are very drought tolerant and require a well drained soil. They should not need watering unless spring is very dry. By now, the bulbs will be beginning to go dormant and would not need watering at all. Allow the foliage to continue growing until it yellows and dries up naturally. At that time you may remove the dead foliage. I hope this helps. |
