Some shade-loving annuals will grow indoors, but sun-lovers such as Celosia will probably be a disappointment. They thrive in bright sunshine - something that's difficult to duplicate indoors. Celosia may grow for a while inside, but it probably won't bloom. You might try growing lobelia, impatiens or pansies indoors if it's flower color you want.
