where can I buy the perennials I have found in the guide that I purchased at Home Depot, or is it to late to buy/plant.

To check availability, you would need to contact your local Home Depot and see what they have in stock. Generally planting is best done in early spring or in early fall, so sometimes selection is not as wide in mid-summer. You can plant container grown perennials in summer, but be careful to keep them watered and mulched.
