| Ryne, Cumping types of bamboo as a group tend to be less winter hardy than running types. The following 2 clumping types of bamboo are the hardier ones sold by Monrovia but they both are rated to zone 8 and based on your zip code you are in zone 7B. GOLDEN GODDESS BAMBOO (Bambusa multiplex ?Golden Goddess?) ALPHONSE KARR BAMBOO (Bambusa multiplex ?Alphonse Karr?)
