Banana trees - Knowledgebase Question

just planted banana trees - well watered and drained - after 3 days the leaves have turned weak and yellow - is it just shock? Should i trim off the wilted and yellow leaves? How? should I even worry?

Yes that does sound like transplant shock and is entirely normal if you maintain moist (not soggy) soil the plants will be sending up fresh new growth soon. Fertilize lightly now and again in late July to promote new growth and vigor but not after August 1 as you don't want to stimulate late season growth.
