Debbie,

Fertilize them by evenly spreading a cup of lawn fertilizer (not weed and feed) per 10 square feet of soil surface around the plants. Maintain good soil moisture and the plants should put on new growth soon. If any caterpillars are still present or show up after the plants start to regrow immediately spray the plants with a product containing B.t. and be ready to repeat the spray about a week later.
