What is the best planting technique to keep the geese away from my property!!!!????? I'm on a pond.

Unfortunately these birds seem to be fairly indiscriminate in their rampages. Rather than adjusting your plant selection you may need to consider either fencing them out or otherwise deterring them from approaching the plants. Some gardeners report success using the inflatable "scare eyes" and flash tape sold for scaring birds from the garden. Others have had good results by placing shiny helium filled ballons on their property (attached to string and weighted down with heavy stones - they last several weeks and can be moved around as needed). Dogs are also great deterrents. Maybe one of these approaches will work for you, too. Hope so!
