My daffodil bulbs must be moved due to construction. The foliage is yellowing. Can I did them up and replant them elsewhere? Should I put them in the frig til fall? Don't want to lose them. |
You can move your daffodils now if you dig them carefully and leave the yellowing foliage attached until it turns a crispy brown. When that happens, you can cut the foliage off. Daffodils are one of the bulbs that will grow in your area without a winter chill. Repot them as soon as possible, or plant them in their permanent place in the ground. Best wishes with your garden! |
