I bought a brown turkey fig tree a month ago. It was growing nicely, had large leaves and the figs are about 1

Yellowing leaves at the bottom of a plant generally indicate overwatering. There is no set frequency for watering because it depends on the size of the tree relative to the container, the potting mix used, and the weather. The soil should be moist but not sopping wet or saturated. To know if you need to water, dig into the soil with your finger. If it is still wet do not water yet. When you do water, water thoroughly. If there is a drainage saucer under the pot, be sure to empty it after you water the tree. I hope this helps.
