We are looking for a hedge plant that will do well with only some sun, will grow and fill in quickly, and look good all year. Because of our lack of sun it is very difficult to find something that will do well. We did have a boxwood that was very old and did fine, but we would like to plant something new. We picked up a Monrovia Waxleaf Privet, but are unsure if that is a good choice. Thank you! |
Waxleaf Privet, Japanese Yew, Camellia, evergreen Azalea and Pieris will all grow in part shade and do well in your gardening region. Camellia is the slowest to establish, but once the roots are firmly established it will grow quickly. Hope one of these suggestions is just right for your garden! |
