This is the 3rd year I have had my beautiful elephant ears. They started with 6 and now are numerous. The problem is, this year they seem to be dwarfed by the standard of the previous years. They have been spectacular! What is the problem and can I fix it?

Elephant's Ears tend to produce offsets and I wonder if your grouping of plants has become overcrowded? This would account for their slow growth because numerous plants are competing for available moisture and nutrients. Wait until this winter then dig the bulbs and replant, providing lots of room in between so they have plenty of room to grow. Best wishes with your garden!
