The Q&A Archives: Agapanthus africanus `Queen Anne`

Question: Hi. Once this plant has bloomed, do the stalks get cut down or do we leave them tall? Do they re-flower from the existing stalks or grow new ones? Thank you

Answer: Catherine,

They won't reflower from the old bloom stalks so you can cut them back to the base near where they attach to the plant.
