| Most gardenias will not be hardy in your Minnesota climate so you'll want to plan on taking yours indoors when the summer is over. Gardenias can be wintered over in a bright location when watered regularly and misted frequently (to counteract dry indoor air). If it's happy, your gardenia will even bloom indoors.
