Several branches of my Junipers turn brown and die. This happened last year as well. I have been cutting the dead off, but it seems to appear again. What is causing this condition and what must I do to prevent it, tks.?

This sounds like it is a disease problem. These are difficult to diagnose long distance. I would suggest you consult with your local county extension to obtain a specific diagnosis, and based on knowing that, determine how to proceed. If a chemical control is recommended, they will have the most up to date information on what to use and how/when is best to apply it for maximum results.
