| It's mid-summer now and your lilac bush has probably already formed flower buds for next spring's display. Before pruning examine the tips of the branches. If you see that buds have already formed, it's too late to prune. If no new leaf and flower buds are visible, it's safe to prune. Best wishes with your lilac. |
