Hydrangea blooms are large and heavy, this tends to make the stems arch out and down with their weight. If by drooping you mean wilting, check that the soil is evenly moist like a wrung out sponge. They may still wilt on hot afternoons but should recover each morning. If the plant is wilted in the morning, you need to water it thoroughly and deeply. I hope this helps.
