If you're planting BERRI-MAGIC? KIDS' HOLLY COMBINATION (Ilex x meserveae 'Blue Girl' PP# 2434 & 'Blue Boy' PP# 2435), these shrubs grow 3-6' wide. For a dense screening hedge, you can plant them on 4' centers. This will allow some space between them when they are young, but they should grow together to make a thick hedge as they mature.
