After blooming beautifully in May and June, we no longer have any blooms. Should we cut back the dead blooms? HELP!

Thanks,

Jim

Liatris spicata Kobold Gayfeather will bloom a second time this season if you remove the spent flowers and their stems. Gayfeather makes a wonderful cut flower (when it's fresh) so cutting off the flowering stems won't hurt your plants at all.
