Blue morning glory, evergreen? - Knowledgebase Question

In zone 9, will this plant die back each year or stay as an evergreen during the winter? Have heard two different answers. thanks

Perennial blue morning glory is frost tender so the tops will die down if your garden experiences a frost. You can prune away the dead stems in the spring and your morning glory will practically burst into new growth and lots of new flowers.
