I have a pepper plant and it has very small biege bugs, what should I do? |
Based on your description these might be aphids -- soft bodied, sucking insects clustering on the soft new growth. They can be treated with commercially formulated insecticidal soap and/or knocked off with a spray of water from the garden hose. Lady bugs are a natural predator that may show up on their own and will control aphids quickly. Aphids are sometimes attracted to plants that are overfertilized, so be sure you are not giving it too much nitrogen fertilizer. I hope this helps. |
