What products do You recemend for the control of Japanese beetles? |
Japanese beetles are not easy to control. The pheromone traps are not recommended. You can try hand picking early or late in the day when they are less active (drop them into soapy water) or you can try to repel them using a spray containing neem. Sprays containing carbaryl (such as Sevin) can also be used. For a long term approach you can treat with nematodes or with milky spore to kill them in the grub stage. Be sure to read and follow the label directions whichever product(s) you use. |
