htere are these seed looking pod type things on this plant and i was wondering if the are in fact seeds and how do i get them to grow if they are ? thanks |
You can grow lily of the nile from seeds but it takes patience. Allow the seed pods to dry on the plant then remove them and collect the seeds. Cover the seed lightly to sow, and germinate at about 75 degrees F. Germination takes anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks. The plants won't bloom for about three years but once they begin blooming you'll have them for many years to come. Enjoy! |
