I have a 'Blue Girl' Holly. Do I need 'Blue Boy' to pollenate her or would another cultivar, such as 'Blue Prince' work?

Any of the 'Blue' male hollies will pollinate the 'Blue' female hollies but it is usually recommended, because of their simultaneous bloom periods, that you plant a Blue Boy with a Blue Girl and and Blue Princess with a Blue Prince. I've had good success with a Blue Prince pollinating both a Blue Princess and a Blue Girl in my landscape. If you prefer the Blue Prince, go ahead and plant it with your Blue Girl.
