My townhouse faces South. I would like to plant 2 Euyonomous Manhattan in front of my living room windows. Will it thrive with a full sun, southern exposure? (summer shade starts around 5 PM.

Euonymus Manhattan will grow in your gardening zone in full sun and well-draining soils but it will need extra protection from drying winter winds. Plant it where it will be shielded from winter winds from either buildings or stands of trees or shrubs. Or, you can build a temporary wind break out of stakes and burlap to set up a few feed from your shrub.

Best wishes with your garden!
