The Q&A Archives: Windmill Palm

Question: I have a few Windmill Palms and I was wondering if the branches or leaves need to be cut of, ripped off, or left on if they ever become brown and dead looking?

Answer: As the lower leaves turn brown they can be cut off. Some gardeners leave several inches of stub; others saw them off closer to the trunk. You can remove them when they are completely brown.

Best wishes with your landscape!
