lAVANDULA PROVENCE: I planted a row of 12. They are thriving, but not flowering, even though I fertilzed. Any suggestions for promoting blooms?

I think your French lavender plants are spending their energy becoming established in your garden. They may not bloom until they are 2-3 years old. So in the meantime, enjoy their aromatic foliage. When they bloom, they will be spectacular! I'd hold off on fertilizing next spring; too much nitrogen fertilizer (or soil that is too rich) will keep your lavender plants from flowering.

Best wishes with your garden!
