I live on a lot that would not grow moss. I love cucumbers and have seen them growing from some type of planter. Can you tell me how I could grow cucumbers from a hanging planter?

Cucumbers can be successfully grown in a hanging basket. Put one or two plants in a pot that's about 8 inches deep and 12 inches wide. Use regular potting soil and keep the container well watered all season. As the fruits form you may want to fashiona sling to help support each one so the weight of the growing fruit doesn't pull the vine down too far. For best flavor, cucumbers should be harvested when they're 5-6 inches long. Be sure to put your hanging container in full sunshine.
