The Q&A Archives: pruning

Question: Does American Red Bush Lantana (in a container) need pruning or shaping? And how do I do this? Thanks.

Answer: It isn't necessary to prune your lantana, but you certainly can. Wait until the flowers are spent and then snip the stems back. Cutting the stems will encourage the development of two or more new flowering stems.
