The Q&A Archives: Macarena

Question: I understand that you have a new type of New Guinea Impatiens called Macarena. How do I get these new plants?

Answer: Burpee has a beautiful new variety of New Guinea impatiens called 'Macarena'. The flowers are huge in a bright tangerine color, the foliage is deep forest green. These impatiens are no "shrinking violet" either, they can reach 2 ft. in height. Macarena will grow in the shade or the sun (if watered appropriately). You can obtain Macarena from the 1998 catalog.
