| I have planted tomatoes and have had great success. While I am picking I hate to lose them and many are green with red on the bottom. Cam I pick them and wait for them to turn red? Thank you...Dave |
| There is nothing quite as tasty as a vine-ripened tomato! I'd leave them on the vine until they're completely red. Tomatoes that are partially ripened will finish ripening on a kitchen counter, but the flavor won't be quite as intense as a vine-ripened tomato. Your patience will be rewarded if you wait. |
