A neighbor cut a piece of a rubber tree. I would like to 'root' and plant it. Now it is sitting in a bucket of water.

How/What should I do? The leaves do not stand-up anymore.

Stacy,

It you stick the end in some rooting hormone and then place it in a pot of moist potting mix, cover it with a clear plastic bag and set the pot in a bright area out of direct sunlight it should root in a few weeks.
