thank you for an answer, melinda

Answer: Melinda,

There are a number of products that will kill spiders which you can purchase at your local garden center. Check the label of various products for spiders and for use on your ornamental plant like shrubs and flowers. An early morning application is best during such hot weather. I am surprised that the webs are so prevalent as you described and can't help but wonder why all the webs. The spiders must be finding a lot of insects to be trapping to feed on.
