my husband brought home a beautiful spartan juniper topiary a few weeks ago. it's been in full sun but seems very dry and slowing dieing, and turning brown. I don't know how to turn this around.please help |
Libby, That may be due to letting it get too dry or keeping the roots soggy wet. Both are deadly, especially in hot weather. It also may be due to a disease or mites affecting the plant's foliage. I suspect watering is the cause. Feel the soil to check for moisture and water enough to keep it moist but not soggy wet. If the initial damage was not too severe the plant should recover in time and put on new growth. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
