I have several Liliy of the Nile plants which were planted last year. The foliage is lush however they do not flower. I have seen other palnts in this area blooming. Could you tell me hwat the problem might be? |
Elena, If the foliage is healthy it is not clear why they are not blooming. In too much shade they may lack the carbohydrates to bloom well. I might suggest you try a fertilization with a product containing a high middle number (phosphorus). Take care however to not fertilize too much and stimulate excessive vigor as this may deter blooming. Perhaps also with a little time the plants will start blooming normally. Sometimes plants can be peculiar in that way. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
