The Q&A Archives: Snapdragons

Question: I am preparing to plant snapdragons this spring - where should I plant them for the best results?

Answer: Antirrhinum (snapdragons) are among the best flowers for sunny borders. They flower in the spring and early summer, but when it gets too hot, they stop blooming. They are best treated as an early summer annual and then replaced with a more heat-tolerant plant when the going gets tough.
