Phil,

Monrovia does not list the variety Autumn Flame red maple in their catalogue. A description of the variety can be found at the following web site:

Monrovia does carry the variety Autumn Blaze. Here is its description:
Outstanding vivid fall color. Drought tolerant maple hybrid combines the best qualities of its ancestors. Brilliant, long lasting orange-red foliage on dense, upright shade tree. Grows 4 times faster than other red maple hybrids. Rugged and well adapted to most soils. Improved resistance to damage from both leafhoppers and verticillium wilt. Thrives in much warmer climates extending well into the deep south and west. Classic form with oval head and ascending branching habit makes ideal lawn tree or front yard accent. Deciduous. Full sun. Very fast growth to 50 or 60 feet tall and about 40 feet wide.
