I've planted a long row of gardenia , I'm looking for a plant to grow in front of the gardenia. I live in a tropical enviroment.
Any ideas?

Some complimentary plants for beneath your gardenia include Wild Ginger (Asarum), Bergenia, Sweet Woodruff, or Oxalis (redwood sorrel) You might also consider daylilies or lily turf if the area gets a fair amount of sunshine.

Enjoy your garden!
