this most recent storm blew my oldest saguaro over. THIS GRANDDADDY WAS 50' TALL WITH SEVERAL 25' ARMS . It was uprooted and snapped 4-5 roots about 6 |
Carnegiea gigantea, or Saguaro, is propagated from seeds. You won't be able to stick one of the arms in the soil and have it develop roots. But, you may be able to set the plant upright and shore it up with 2X4's so it stands up straight. It may settle back into the soil and continue to grow for you. Hope so! |
