I live in Murphys, Ca. Can i grow star jasmine on a freestanding arbor in full sun? Summer temps occasionly top 100 degrees and are usually in the low to mid ninties in July and August.

Star jasmine will grow in full sun to part afternoon shade in your growing region. Summer heat generally doesn't bother it so growing it on a free-standing trellis will be just fine.

Enjoy!
