I purchased the Tropicana Gold this spring and it is doing wonderful. Before winter hits I wanted to know what to do to protect it, so it regrows next year? Live in middle Georgia zone 8-9. We have been hit with frosts and freezing rains.

Zone 7 is borderline for leaving Tropicana's in the ground over winter. In zones 8 and 9 you should be able to cut the tops of the plants off after the first frost and then mulch over the soil to protect the roots. Best wishes with your garden!
