I have a sloped yard where I just removed ~15 Otto Luken Laurels due to shot disease. I would like to replace them with something evergreen and smaller height - maybe 2-3'. The exposure is part sun. I really love the Davidii Viburnum, but am afraid they will get closer to 4'. Do you have any other suggestions for this area? Thanks!

Sarah,

DAVID VIBURNUM (Viburnum davidii) should be a great choice for those specifications. Some other possibilities include:

PRELUDE PIERIS
Pieris japonica 'Prelude'

COMPACT INKBERRY HOLLY
Ilex glabra 'Compacta'

REEVES SKIMMIA
Skimmia reevesiana

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
