| Pines grow best in full sunshine, in fertile, moist, well draining soils. It might tolerate some morning shade but will require full afternoon sunshine to remain healthy. Try to find the sunniest site possible for this specimen tree. Your tree is slow growing, and irregular in habit, eventually reaching 3 to 7 feet tall, 6 to 12 feet wide.
