A few years ago I purchased an Oshio-Beni Japanese Maple specifically for its beautiful red foliage. This year for some reason the leaves are green. I have followed the directions on watering and fertilizing so am at a loss as to why the leaves are green this year. Thanking you in advance for any help

Gerri,

Increasing shade is one possibility. Hot conditions can also cause less color. I'd give it some time and it should improve this fall and then next spring again.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
