| It generally takes only a few hours but can take up to 48 hours, depending on the flowers and how thick they are. Just to be on the safe side, allow them to remain in the dessicant for 48 hours (remaining for a longer period of time than required will not hurt the flowers, and will assure that they are completely dry).
