I purchased a potted cabaret japanese silver grass this summer. I left it in the pot on my deck over the season. It is now turning brittle. Should I plant it in the ground now or leave it in the pot until the spring? Will it even comeback in the spring?

Cabaret Japanese silver grass is a warm season grass and the roots are hardy to about -10F. You can try sinking the pot into the ground near the foundation of your house (to protect it from winter cold) and it may survive the winter months. Hope so!
