I have spent over a year searching for the Charming Fantasy Snowberry Shrub with no success. I have called every gardening center within 200 miles and searched high and low on the internet and still no luck. I wanted to know how many years a new plant takes to the market? I know it was only released this year, but I discovered it in an article last year and have been excited ever since. Do you have any advice or search options I haven't utilized? Thank you.

I understand (and have occasionally shared) your frustration. Very often it seems the publicity preceeding a new release comes out too far in advance as far as the gardener is concerned. It usually takes several years for a new plant to reach wide distribution after it is introduced. And, it also means retailers have to begin to order it and stock it. Since Monrovia is a wholesale only nursery, its plants are sold through independent retailers and each store has its own selection. Maybe if you talked to the local store manager they would try to get it for you or can tell you if they expect to carry it next year. I'm really sorry you are having a hard time locating the plant you want.
