The Q&A Archives: Winter Preparation for Ajuga (chocolate chip)

Question: How should I care for ajuga in preparation for winter (zone 5)?

Answer: There's nothing you need to do to prepare your Ajuga for winter. The tops will freeze down if the weather is really cold, but the crowns are hardy in your growing zone so will produce new leaves when the weather warms in the spring. Enjoy!
