Answer: The site you describe sounds exquisite and I love the color combinations. There really is nothing more that I can suggest. The size of the area will limit the number of "backbone" plants you can use so you might want to add some annuals in various pockets of soil throughout the bed, changing them as the seasons change. I'd use 6-pak bedding plants, visiting my local nursery at the beginning of each season to see what they have to offer. Right now you'll probably find some of the cooler weather plants in stock - pansies, primroses, snapdragons, etc. You might even find some ornamental kale in shades of pink, white an purple.
