| Margaret, There is not a practical way to keep the mushrooms from coming up in your yard. The are the fruiting structures of underground fungi and spraying really won't help much. They tend to be worse in the fall and then go away for the winter season. Your best bet is to go out and knock them loose to rake up and throw away before the dogs get at them.
