butterfly bush - Knowledgebase Question

We have a butterfly bush that is very tall about 15 ft tall. How do i cut it back without it dying?

Cassie,

Sorry for the delayed reply. Cut the bush back in late winter as far back as you like. Then as it completes bloom cycles in summer shear it back a little and fertilize lightly then water it in well. This will keep it more compact and blooming well.
